“Mmh, is it homemade?“ – this is a typical question when our customers serve Coppenrath & Wiese cakes and tortes to their relatives or friends. And this is exactly our objective: We want to offer bakery products that taste as delicious as if they are homemade. With two differences: You have no work to do with our products. Shopping, defrosting or warming up, ready! Generally – our Strudels as an exception – all Conditorei products are ready baked and after defrosting consumable. Our pastries always have the same, first-class quality!
All ingredients are mixed exactly according to the recipes. Fresh cream is always whipped to the same consistency. The dough for baked Pastry cases, Cakes and Bread Rolls – from biscuit to shortpastry – is allowed to ferment and rest as long as it needs to achieve best quality, according to traditional baking methods. After this the products run through the several metres long baking street – incidentally in the same time in which you bake your cakes at home. All that guarantees highest Conditor enjoyment!
At Coppenrath & Wiese the cherry on top of the Tortes, Cream Slices & -Roulades is applied by hand. Diligent workers carefully assemble shortcrust bases, Torte rings and biscuit layers. They put nuts and cherries on top of the cream. Every Cream Torte gets full attention – because after all it is supposed to be a feast for the eyes as well...
